[ARCHIVED] FPD Investigate Social Media Threat Against Fall Creek JR High School

January 18, 2019

Fishers, (Indiana) – Fishers Police are investigating after students at Fall Creek Junior High School reported a threat on social media. It is believed the person responsible for the threat is a student at FCJH, however was not in attendance today.

As a precaution, police in partnership with Hamilton Southeastern Schools Administrators made the decision to delay school dismissal at the schools in the immediate area while officers searched for the suspect. Dismissal was authorized once the area was deemed safe and officers were present at each school. Regular dismissal was delayed by approximately 30 minutes. The schools affected by this incident were Fall Creek Elementary, Fall Creek Intermediate, Fall Creek Jr High and Hamilton Southeastern High School.

Police continue to search for the suspect. This investigation is on-going. Anyone with information regarding this incident or the suspect is asked to call the Hamilton County Communications Center at 317-773-1282.
