The majority of school incidents are over prior to the arrival of emergency personnel, leaving wounded and caregivers in need of medical attention and supplies. To prepare and alleviate this shortfall, funds are being raised to purchase small trauma kits for every classroom in the HSE School District. This kit is designed for traumatic injuries and gives those on the scene the ability to render appropriate care sooner.

The cost of outfitting every HSE classroom is estimated at $65,000 and donors are being sought to sponsor Putt-ing out the Fire. Levels of sponsorship range from $65 for a vendor table to $1000 as a “Fire Chief”. To become a sponsor, please contact Jim Chrena at jim@fishersfirecorps.info.
