Registration for the 2023-204 school year will open April 10 through August 24
Registration for the Fishers Mayor's Youth Academy will open at 7am on April 10 and stay open through August 24 at midnight.
The Fishers Mayor’s Youth Academy (formerly Mayor's Youth Council) is a year-long experience provided by the City of Fishers in partnership with Hamilton Southeastern Schools and the Eman Schools for high school juniors and seniors that live and or attend school in Fishers with a GPA of at least 3.0 to be eligible for the program.
The program is an immersive experience that gives local high students hands-on opportunities to experience and learn more about local government, non-profits serving our community, and to showcase opportunities in public service. Mayor's Youth Academy members will also work with Mayor Scott Fadness and city leaders on public policy projects, with the chance to present that project to the Fishers City Council in the spring of 2023. Mayor's Youth Academy will meet, typically on Wednesdays, once per month from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Students are expected to participate in the majority of the sessions to complete the program.
