City Government Academy

CGA Fall2023

Registration is open now through July 28!

Registration for the Fall 2023 session of the award-winning Fishers City Government Academy (CGA) will be open June 5 through July 28. The session will kick off on Thursday, August 10 at 6 p.m. The academy is free and open to Fishers residents who are 18 and older. CGA allows residents of Fishers to examine the inner workings of city government by allowing participants to hear from staff, tour city facilities, and engage in the collaborative city governing process. At the end of the course, participants will have a greater understanding of how Fishers government works. CGA meets twice a month from 6 to 8 p.m. and runs from August 10 through December 14**. Class locations vary, with several evenings meeting at off-site locations such as the City's Public Works Garage and the Police and Fire Departments. To find out more information regarding the Fall 2023 registration requirements, course agenda, and to enroll in the academy, please visit the information and link below on or after June 5. Special accommodations, such as ASL interpreters, can be made if needed.
