- Indoor Air Quality
For mold and other indoor air quality issues, the Fishers Health Department does not typically evaluate owner-occupied housing for mold or indoor air quality issues. Renters typically need to work with their landlords and within the terms of their lease to assure issues are addressed. Please reference Indiana Code 16-20-1-23 for standards.
There are currently few rules or regulations that can be enforced with respect to Indoor Air Quality other than those that have been promulgated for Schools and State Agencies (410 IAC 33).
For more information visit the Indiana State Department of Health’s website.
