City of Fishers Operations

City operations continue and City Hall remains open, with a few precautionary changes. We’re actively monitoring the situation and will make changes as needed.

Fishers Parks

Driving to parks is permitted under the travel restriction. Fishers Parks and Recreation facilities and playgrounds are closed. Parks and trails remain open. We encourage residents to utilize these properties for their physical and mental well-being during this time. Go for a hike, fly a kite, exercise, and unplug in nature. We are not booking any new rentals through March in Holland Park, Billericay Park, Ambassador House, and Saxony Hall.

City Court

Due to the restriction on public gatherings necessary by the COVID-19 health situation, the following Court dates have been changed:

  • April 3 Initial Hearings rescheduled to May 18 at 1:30 p.m.
  • April 10 Initial Hearings rescheduled to May 20 at 1:30 p.m.
  • April 17 Initial Hearings rescheduled to May 29 at 1:30 p.m.
  • April 24 Bench Trials rescheduled to May 22

The City Services building, and the ticket payment window, are currently closed to the public. Payments for tickets can still be made online. Court staff are still available to accept e-filings, and to return phone calls and e-mail inquiries.

Transactions

Residents can continue to make transactions online, including paying tickets, paying sewer and stormwater bills, and permit application and payment. City Hall remains open, however the City Services building will be closed.Residents can call 317-595-3111 with any questions instead of coming into the building. DPW & Engineering Projects are proceeding business as usual with staffing precautions in place.

These departments will continue with business as usual.

Police & Fire Department

These departments will continue with business as usual, with special protocols in place. The main lobby of the Police Department is currently closed; however, residents can continue to access the phone inside the main doors to contact dispatch in case of emergency or with special requests.

Meetings & Appointments

The City of Fishers is working to reduce the number of external meetings during this time. If you have a scheduled meeting and are unsure if it is continuing, please reach out to the City staff member you are planning to meet for information.
